Mobile Carbon Capture test container.

In cooperation with partners, Verkade Climate has been working on an efficient solution to capture pure CO₂ from several waste-gas streams. In order to perform on-site tests, a complete built-to-scale test facility was designed which has to be mobile.
Adding smartness.
The complete installation including a combustor to test several fuels was re-designed to fit and then built into a 20ft container. The complete system functions as a full-scale plant but is running on maximum 100 kg of CO₂ Capture. Room for a desk for the researchers, sensor outlets for gas analysis and all electrical and controls are built inside.
We keep it real.
Using all standard equipment as pumps and valves but where necessary, using the right high-quality steel and gaskets has made this an efficiently built test facility which is completely mobile to function as test- and research unit at the sites of potential clients for a full-scale capture facility.
Done.
The container unit is fit with electrical, lights and controls, emergency exit and the complete system fitted in such a way that all serviceable parts and equipment are easily accessible. The first test runs have already been completed and the gas analysis shows 99% pure CO₂.
