Challenge accepted.
The heat network for the city of Groningen, 'Warmtestad', was looking for a supplementary sustainable solution for heat delivery. Our partner, TVP Solar—a producer of thermal solar collectors—asked us if we wanted to realize such a project together with them.
Adding smartness.
Through a thorough 3D design and by involving the entire project team in this 'Building Information Modelling' (BIM) design tool, all components were fully coordinated before the first shovel hit the ground. By prefabricating a large part of the system and delivering it in sections, we were able to shorten the total schedule by many months.

By leveraging our knowledge of installations and our experience with geothermal energy and large, complex greenhouse projects, we have been able to build a highly comprehensive system that will function perfectly for decades to come.

The park will supply heat to Warmtestad, providing thousands of businesses and homes with fully sustainable thermal energy.
