This is how it works.

01

Desulfurization.

Biogas typically consists of approximately 40% CO₂, 60% methane, and a number of potentially harmful components, including H₂S (hydrogen sulfide, also known as “rotten egg gas”). H₂S can be harmful or even lethal at very low concentrations. Using a specially developed solvent, all H₂S is removed from the biogas in a single process step.

02

Green CO₂.

Using our CO₂ Capture technology, CO₂ is separated from the biogas, resulting in pure, methane-free CO₂ that can be used as a by-product or applied as valuable green CO₂.

03

Green gas.

After CO₂ removal, the remaining biogas consists of pure methane. This methane is further treated to meet grid-quality standards and can be injected into the natural gas grid as green gas (RNG – Renewable Natural Gas).

04

Energy integration.

The heat added during our process is made available for beneficial use within the biogas digestion plant. As a result, the total net energy input of the system is reduced to nearly zero.

Maatschap Van Ommeren.

Maatschap Van Ommeren wanted to safely and efficiently produce clean green gas from challenging gas streams. Previously, this process caused pollution and waste streams. Our technology now purifies the gas directly in a single step without any waste.

Ten Kate Farm.

At farm Ten Kate, we implemented a containerized installation that digests manure and upgrades biogas into green gas. Emissions are significantly reduced, and additional revenue is generated by supplying it to the natural gas grid, fully prefab and quickly installed.
